On Thursday 15th January, the newly installed Master of Lodge Colinton & Currie No. 1029, RWM Kenny Paterson, led a deputation to Lodge St Leonard Loanhead and Lasswade No. 580, marking one of his first official visits since taking the Chair of King Solomon.
An Exemplary Fellowcraft Degree
During the evening, the deputation had the pleasure of witnessing an excellent Fellowcraft Degree, expertly performed by the lodge’s Step-Up Degree Team. The ceremony was delivered with confidence and precision, reflecting great credit on all involved.
The RWM and attending Brethren would also like to offer their warm congratulations to Bro. Murray Duncan, who proved an exemplary candidate, and whom we now gladly welcome as a Fellowcraft Freemason.

A Special Honour for Our RWM
A particularly proud moment of the evening came when our own RWM Kenny Paterson was awarded Honorary Membership of Lodge St Leonard Loanhead and Lasswade No. 580. This honour was conferred upon him by the Right Worshipful Master of the lodge, Mark McCluskey, in recognition of his commitment and contribution to the Craft.

Thanks and Fraternal Hospitality
RWM Kenny Paterson and the deputation extend their sincere thanks to RWM Mark McCluskey and the Brethren of Lodge St Leonard Loanhead and Lasswade No. 580 for the warm welcome and generous hospitality shown throughout the evening. The visit was a fine example of the strong fraternal bonds that exist between lodges.
