Lodge Colinton & Currie Presents £500 to Blood Bikes Scotland

It was a pleasure to welcome Joe Cairney and John Donaldson of Blood Bikes Scotland to Lodge Colinton & Currie No. 1029 today, where Right Worshipful Master Kenny Paterson presented them with a cheque for £500.

The donation formed part of the funds raised by Widows Sons & Solomons Guard Scotland through their recent charity motorcycle ride around the north of Scotland. The presentation was a welcome opportunity to bring everyone together and celebrate the generosity of those who supported the fundraising effort.

Joe and John brought along “Nina”, one of the Blood Bikes based in Balerno. With Nina parked outside the Lodge, the occasion provided a fitting backdrop for a photograph marking the handover.

Also in attendance were Stewart Walls PM, current President of Widows Sons & Solomons Guard Scotland; Bro. Andrew Young, Lodge Secretary; and Bro. Steve McKenzie, Vice President of WSSG.

Our thanks go to Joe and John for joining us, and to everyone who took part in the charity ride, donated or helped with the fundraising. We are delighted to support Blood Bikes Scotland and wish the team every success with their continuing work.
