On Wednesday 22nd April, the Brethren of Lodge Colinton & Currie No.1029 gathered for another enjoyable and memorable evening of Freemasonry, friendship and fellowship.
In the absence of our Right Worshipful Master, Bro Kenneth Paterson PM, who is currently recovering from a recent hip operation, the meeting was expertly conducted by Past Master Bro Stewart Walls PM. The Brethren were pleased to hear that Bro Kenny continues to recover well and look forward to welcoming him back to the chair in due course.
A highlight of the evening was the affiliation of Bro Gary Clark PM, a member of Lodge St John Corstorphine No.788, into Lodge Colinton & Currie No.1029. Bro Gary, already well known and respected amongst many of the Brethren, was warmly welcomed into the Lodge and formally admitted as a member following an excellent ceremony carried out with dignity and good humour.

The affiliation further strengthens the bonds of friendship and fraternity between the two Lodges and reflects the welcoming spirit that continues to thrive within 1029.
Following the formal proceedings, the Brethren retired to the harmony hall where the excellent fellowship continued late into the evening with conversation, laughter and the usual warm atmosphere enjoyed at the Lodge.
The Lodge would also like to thank all those Brethren who stepped forward to assist in conducting the meeting and ensuring another successful evening for all in attendance.
We extend once again a sincere welcome to Bro Gary Clark PM and wish him many happy years within Lodge Colinton & Currie No.1029.
