Lodge Members Supports Fundraising Activities

The lodge continues to help support local groups and communities by raising funds or supporting others who raise funds.

A number of lodge members are also members of Widows Sons Solomons Guard Scotland Grand Chapter.

They are a Masonic Riding Association consisting of motorbike enthusiasts who enjoy the camaraderie of the MRA, riding their motorbikes and helping others.

The Widows Sons motorcycle fraternity is worldwide and based on masonic principles.

Last year Solomons Guard raised over £2,500 for different charities and charitable groups and this was well supported with donations from the Lodge and its members.

On Wednesday 26th March 2025 a presentation of £700 was made to The Edinburgh Combat Project from Solomons Guard. The presentation was made by Chapter President Jim Wilson and the RWM Stewart Walls.

This took place during a meeting at which a large Deputation from Provincial Grand Lodge of Midlothian attended, headed by PGM Bro. Robert Law.

Both the Lodge and Solomon's Guard wish to thank PGM Law for allowing us to make this presentation during the lodge meeting.

It was a busy night for Bro. Pawel who completed his Fellow Craft degree that evening.
